Dear Educator:
Uniformed student clothing is a national debate with educators taking
stands on both sides of the discussion. Although expert reports show
that there is no direct correlation between standardized student dress
and academics, sagging pants has caused instances of wide spread reprimand
in schools.
In an effort to improve school performance and reduce negative behavior,
a group of education, community, business and faith based leaders launched
the ‘No More Sagging’ Campaign. The ‘No More Sagging’
Campaign: 1) encourages students to dress with a positive purpose, 2)
promotes a more appealing self expression and, 3) fosters students progress
and condemns prison (were the sagging trend started to signal intimate
encounters between inmates, among other things).
In support of the Commander in Chief’s plea, the ‘No More
Sagging’ Campaign mirrors the lifestyle and elegant portrayal
of President Barack Obama through a series of full color 18 x 24 artwork
reproductions. The first phase of the series blends American imagery
– President Obama, Air Force One and the White House - compared
with graphics of men ‘sagging.’
The second phase features an action oriented workshop facilitated by
a ‘No More Sagging’ Campaign Celebrity Stylist. The workshop
teaches young men and registrants the fundamentals of fashion, trends
of the Hip Hop era, clothing messaging and, appearance education.
Join the ‘No More Sagging’ Campaign by displaying the posters
in your schools and send the messages of safety, respect and achievement
among students. Exclusively for middle and high schools, the ‘No
More Sagging’ posters are 30 % off its original price of $ 10.00
on orders of 50 or more.
I am available to talk with you in more detail about the purpose and
mission of the ‘No More Sagging’ Campaign. Consistent messaging
creates cohesion and a peace of mind.
Thank you for your commitment to education,
